Making your own cock ring from items around your house is super simple and quite effective.
There are however a few limitations and downsides to this but that’s nothing to worry about.

This does not require any kind of work, it’s more of a trial-and-error thing. The success comes down to the size and stretchiness of the hairband and you’ll find that some simply don’t work for your penis/balls size.

Using elastic bands as a cock ring is very similar to using an elastic hairband, there are however a few downsides that you need to consider before trying it out.
Elastic bands are made of rubber which grips onto your skin and they can cause small burn marks. This can be avoided if you lubricate it beforehand, but that leads to another problem – They can be hard to get off since they dig into your skin and get tangled in hair.
But it’s still a decent option if you got nothing else and it’s super quick to put on.

This is again roughly the same as the hairband and elastic band since it has the same elastic properties that you’re looking for in a homemade cock ring.
There is however a key difference and that’s the smoothness of the material and the fact that it’s made to sit on your skin.

It can be fun and exciting to try new things but not all things are body-safe and you might end up with a rash or cuts if you’ve used a too sharp object.
That’s why I never recommend the use of any metal ring unless they are smooth. I’ve made a complete guide to metal cock rings if you’re interested in that.
You should never use a homemade cock ring for more than 30 minutes (or any cock ring for that matter) since it blocks your circulation.
Take it off if you feel any kind of discomfort and try to make it less tight. That’s why the homemade adjustable cock ring is such a nice one and the one most have success with.
