One of my favorite parts of being a sex toy reviewer is when I find an amazing new sex toy that I know will blow the minds of my readers.
The flip side of that is when I find bad products or in this case, find a bad company that will scam you.
I used to recommend SexDollGenie when they first started in 2018, but they went from legit to a scam somewhere along the line.
It has gotten so bad that I need to address it.
SexDollGenie was suddenly unable to take payments from their customers which is a sign of a lot of chargebacks from customers.
But hold on, look at that amazing customer rating that they show on their website, what’s up with that?
A quick search on reviews.io for SexDollGenie does in fact reveal an amazing 4.9-star rating but the comments look fake.
All the 5-star ratings are single sentences with no background information or anything related to sex dolls. They could appear under any product and are clearly not from real customers.
You get the complete opposite if you search for SexDollGenie on trustpilot.com where their rating is 2.3 stars.
The site went completely offline for a few months in late 2024 before going online again. I’m not sure what’s up with that and they never respond to any messages or emails.
I’ve tried to email their support several times in the last year and have yet to receive a single response. Looking at their social channels doesn’t add confidence that they will ever respond to your support questions.
Their last X post was made in 2021 when they were called Twitter and their other social profiles don’t look any better.
Sex Doll Genie did have an affiliate program so you could recommend their products and get paid to do so but they shut it down without any notice.
They never gave any explanation or a heads-up, it was just offline one day, and all the money left in people’s accounts where lost.
I would love to get Sex Doll Genie’s side of the story but they never respond.
I’ve never had any problems dealing with YourDoll and their prices are fair and they do actually respond to support messages within a reasonable time.
